These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Light2 LTD ("Light2", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using light2.co (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
2) Who we are

3) Description of services
Light2 operates as a product studio. We may offer services such as focused sprints, fractional product support, and building and shipping software products. Any services we provide are subject to separate written agreements (such as a statement of work, proposal, or contract) that define scope, timelines, deliverables, and fees.
4) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use our services. By using the Website, you represent that you meet these requirements.
5) Service agreements and payment
If you engage Light2 for services, the commercial terms (including fees, payment schedule, and any late payment provisions) will be set out in the applicable written agreement. If there is any conflict between these Terms and an executed service agreement, the service agreement will prevail for that engagement.
6) Your obligations
To help us deliver services effectively, you agree to provide timely information, access, and feedback as reasonably requested, and to ensure you have the rights to share any data or materials you provide.
7) Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Light2 retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, tools, templates, and know-how.
Subject to full payment and the terms of any service agreement, client-specific deliverables created for an engagement will be handled as set out in the relevant agreement.
8) Confidentiality
If we enter into a service engagement, confidentiality obligations may be governed by a separate agreement. In the absence of such an agreement, each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect the other party's confidential information shared in connection with discussions or an engagement.
9) Product studio participation
If you participate in any Light2 product studio activities (including building alongside our team), participation is by invitation and subject to fit for the specific problem or project being worked on. We do not guarantee selection, continued participation, or any specific outcome. Any compensation, revenue share, ownership, or collaboration terms (if applicable) must be agreed in writing.
10) Third-party services
The Website may reference or link to third-party services (including embedded forms). We are not responsible for third-party services and their terms, availability, or practices.
11) Disclaimers
The Website is provided for general information only and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties (express or implied) about the Website, including its availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Any examples, references, or outcomes described are illustrative and not guarantees.
12) Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to the foregoing, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Light2 will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, or loss of goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website.
13) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Website.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on the Website. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
